My Dog's Vince da Pug (Chief Eating Officer) was our first dog as a family. He joined us in November of 2005 and will celebrate his 10th birthday this April! Vince joined me, husband Michael, both long-time caregivers to 4-leggers.. and Aloysious (tiger cat)...in our Boston-area home.

Since then we've added Norman (title TBA), who just turned 2 and Doug-Doug (Chief Marking Officer), who will be '9-ish' (we think more like 6-ish) in March '08'.

I've been working online and offline with my cat boys, Gorbachev and Elvis (both now at the bridge). Each of my boyz was extra special as they lived with chronic illness. We worked together to create educational, entertaining websites to help other kitties like them. We also did a lot of fundraising for animal groups like IMOM, The Morris Foundation for Animals, and The Humane Society...and have done grass-roots organizing to help animals impacted by Hurricane Katrina. That's why giving back to pug rescue is so important to us as a family and now as a company.

I've always wanted to work with animals but knew early on that vet school wasn't for me (I can't even visit an animal hospital without breaking down, not sure how my bedside manner would be through all the tears). After building a career in marketing for many years, I found myself 'displaced', again...so Vince and I talked and decided to take the plunge with our idea of doggie parties. We hope its a success as he really hates the 9-5 of the corporate world :)
