how can we be cool like Vince?...
The boyz and I get asked all the time 'who's your dog walker?'...'where'd you get those stylish coats?'. Here's the answers to just some of those questions! More will be added and feel free to buzz us for a personal recommendation on any kind of product or service.
Nicole, owner of Laughing Dogs, is the only person I think I trust my boyz to (besides my husband - most of the time LOL). Vince and the boyz have attended playgroups with her for years and she has always provided, loving, affordable care. Visit her website or give her a call at 617.710.0324.
Well
the question 'got poop?' is a rhetorical one for those of us that share our
lives with dogs. Linda and her crew offer all kinds of cleanup services for
your yard to make your life a little bit easier, as well as daycare and overnight
stay services for your pooch. Visit her website or giver her a call at 617.347.2783.
Hungry?
Of course you are - you're a dog (or a cat or a ferret or a fish or ??). Well, EfP is
your local chain for earthy-crunchy goodness. All the best brands like Innova,
Timberwolf, Solid Gold, Merrick and more with an educated staff to help you
make the right decisions on food, training and more. EfP does not and will
not sell live animals and supports adoption with awareness days, donation programs
and if you're a rescue dog or cat, you can enjoy a 10% discount on your first
30 days of purchases! EfP also offers obedience classes and grooming services
at all of their locations. Visit their website for
store locations and more.
For folks in the metro-Boston area, The
Pet Cabaret in Roslindale
is your source for premium foods, treats, toys and more. The Lisa's (and their
animal family) that run The Pet Cabaret are committed to providing only the
highest quality products for your companion animals. They also offer self-dogwash
facilities and will be adding a groomer shortly! Don't forget, you can get
our goodies at TPC as well so what are you waiting for? Run, don't walk!
Got a small business? Maybe you're a teacher? Heck even if
you've got a big business you'll want the deals at Onlinelabels.com. We've
been buying their labels for years (and using they're easy-to-use label templates...no
frickin' Avery nightmares) and been happy with the cost, quality and selection.
From straight-up mailing labels to cutie dog bone-shaped ones (that might look
familiar to you) you'll find everything you need at their site.
This is a pic of our pal Deanna and her dog Kona. Deanna is an Animal Communicator we know that we'd like to refer more folks to. Visit her website, Talks 2 Animals, for more info on her services! Deanna is also well-versed in the use of herbs, flower essences and provides consults and tinctures for therapeutic use.
Our
good friend Nicole
Maniez (LicAc, MAOM) has just opened her own practice in
Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (congrats Nicole!). She has offices in Boston
and Hingham and is someone we can't recommend enough to other
folks. Visit her website, Family
Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, for more info on her services
and to schedule time with her.
Our friend Janis makes amazing and affordable custom goodies for dogs of all shapes and sizes. She made us amazing winter coats and neck warmers (see Norm below modelling his monkey coat!) and also does collars, harnesses, and all kinds of other stuff. Quick turnaround, quality goods and very affordable for the value from Harness Heaven!

Our pals Mason and Lizzie maintain a wonderful blog and have even published their first book (we're so far behind, get typing Vince!). Check out their site here.
Buster Brown is a cool pug we met on Twitter (@BusterBrown), he's got a blog where he talks about his rescue and extended family and the great life he's living now!
Head
to Tail Massage is a biz our pals Sanji and Kristina started earlier this year.
We met these ladies when they helped us out offering animal massage at some
of our events this year. They have now finished their studies in animal massage
and provide a service that's therapeutic for all involved. Norman is a huge
fan! We'll have video of him getting a massage up soon, probably rated R ;)
Here's a pic of Vince post-massage at the recent PRoNE Pug Social - picture
of perfect bliss, right? Head to tail comes to your home so that your animal
is relaxed right from the get-go, visit their site for more info on massage
and the services they provide.
Cheshire
Garden is a wonderful farm in New Hampshire run by our friend
Patti! From the farm's bounty she creates wonderful jams, jellies, mustards,
oils, vinegars and more. I've known Patti for several years as she also sells
her goodies at the Newton farmer's market.
Good news is that after the market
season ends, you can order your fave goodies online! Her strawberry preserves
are my favorite thing on toast (even tops nutella, wait...maybe I should
top nutella with these preserves!). Good to get and good to give as gifts.
